Why Pilates?

Pilates is a method that was pioneered by Joseph Pilates over some 100 years ago to improve body strength, shape, posture and mobility. It will improve posture, increase strength, flexibility and develop core muscles to support the spine. Pilates will educate you about your body like no other exercise regime, you will tune into your body! It's also great for rehabilitation and prevention of injuries and an enjoyable way to get more in touch with your body. My advice is try it and you will see it works - it just does! I became hooked years ago and every day it amazes me with empowering ability.
